Tockholes Tockus talk
Tockholes
Village Newsletter
The Gala News, as it was first named, sprung from the need to let Villagers know progress of the annual Gala, and developed into the village newspaper. It has no political or religious affiliations and each edition is sponsored by a different organisation or person. Local adverts, such as what is happening in a pub or theatre, are included, but in no way recommend the "product" advertised. Tockus
talk is edited and produced by Howard Ritherdon. It is then distributed by e-mail where possible. Paper copies are distributed to every house in the village, where e-mail is not possible, by Lynn Robinson, Dave Hart, Jim Cank, Brian Byrne, Justine Barlow, Sue Gleave, Marlene Jump, Ann Peters, Norman Bell, Carole Salthouse, Barbara Willis, Phil Havard, Alex Heede, Colin Berry, Neil Stevens. Copies are also available at the Vic, the Rock, the Royal, The Information Centre, Chapel & Church (whilst stocks last). We also e-mail copies to ex-Tockholers all over the world, so if you are one and would like a regular copy of Tockus talk please let Howard know and he will add you to the distribution list. So, if you have anything of interest to share with the Village, please let Howard know and he will put it in the next Tockus talk, time & space, etc., permitting. Howard's contact details are - 'phone 703254 (+441254 703254 from outside the U.K.) or e-mail howard@ritherdon.co.uk
