-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DANCE YOUR WAY TO FITNESS –Monday 19th Feb 2007 Half way through the first series and still going strong - The Monday night dancing has proved to be a real hit with many dedicated, if not very talented, dancers. It’s fame has spread beyond the boundaries of the village and there are one or two foreigners joining in!! There are now several routines being performed and enthusiasm is definitely worth a 6 from any judge, and the variety of dances being performed ranges from the “Mayfair Quickstep” through ballroom, Latin and street dancing.
All ages participate in these challenging routines and the only thing really lacking is a few more male members.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ THE BANJO MAN Friday 20th April 2007 - Although the Banjo Man cabaret event was not as well attended as previous events (possibly something to do with the lambing season), everyone who came enjoyed the evening and a healthy profit of over £200 boosted the Hall funds. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ART by Bolton Little Theatre Sat 9th June - a modern take on the children's story of the "kings New Clothes" - everyone who came enjoyed the evening (although some don't know it yet ;-) and a profit of over £60 boosted the Hall funds. Thanks again to Les at The Rock for donating a meal for 2 as the first prize in the raffle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SENIOR CITIZENS TRIP Tue 25th Sept 2007 -
